Ahok: Pramuka Should Become Pioneer for Cleanliness

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) hopes the National Scouts (Pramuka) could become a pioneer of cleanliness and invite Jakartans for not littering.

" I have great hopes to Pramuka because the Dasa Dharma discipline is very extraordinary ," told Ahok, when he became an Inspector Ceremony of 54th Anniversary of Scouting in Monas, Central Jakarta, Friday (8/14).

He plans to cooperate with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to introduce the corruption eradication. Teachers can also support by socializing the importance of honesty to their students.

Not only that, he also said Pramuka can become pioneer not to buy snack recklessly, especially for the food without BPOM certificate.

"I believe, a good and true leader will come out from you, because people who are active able to create the country to be developed. I also believe within 10-20 years later, one of you is going to become a Jakarta Governor," he told.

The ceremony itself was attended by 30,000 participants of Pramuka from various schools that spread in six city regions. They were also Chairman of Pramuka Adhyaksa Dault, Chairman of Regional Pramuka Sylviana Murni, Chief of Jakarta City Police Sr. Comr. Tito Karnavian, and other officials.
